Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the planning, scheduling, and assigning of programming projects
• Coordinating programming projects with the work of other staff
• Analyzing proposed computer applications
• Providing technical assistance to programming staff
• Manages a team of software programmers
• Performs complex computer programming work
• This role requires considerable use of initiative and independent judgment

Requirements:

• Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field
• At least 7 years of overall IT experience
• Extensive experience with developing and delivering commercial/ enterprise software required
• At least 5 years software architecture and engineering required
• 3-5 years project management experience required including experience managing development teams
• Experience with secure coding practices, thread modeling, vulnerability assessment
• Experience with networking architecture and protocols such as SNMP, HTTP, SOAP, SOA - Web Services
• Experience of managing a team of 15-20 people and training others
• Must have exposure in SDLC and CMMI would be an added advantage
• Good understanding of software business and its practices
• Strong work ethic – someone who loves to ‘crank’ out the great work and takes great pride in professionalism, responsibility and proactive

• Strong communications skills, both in writing and speaking.
