Business Need
Over the years, SBB main Banking applications on OS/390 expanded with complexities and intergrations to UNIXs, AS/400, Wintel boxes that serves as frontend or middlewares. For their content repositories, they were using 3 different types of solutions to address this.
Each of the solutions above serves a certain requirement/need for SBB and over time, they ended with 3 content repositories. |

Solution
Objective : To consolidate all their existing content repository
With 3 different content repositories, SBB was finding it very difficult maintain and deploy new applications to these repositories. Also, there are many duplications of contents because they had to be "copied" and stored in these different repositories.
CBS was able to demonstrate the ease of Mobius Viewdirect Total Content Management setup, archives, access, and distributions. SBB was convinced that Mobius will be able to bring them to the next level of business by providing the end users a single content point while easing on the administration (backend). |
